Your dining experience at the Feversham Arms starts from the moment you arrive. Choose a squashy sofa, either nestled in a corner, or next to a real fire and take your time to consider our three menus.
From a traditional Yorkshire breakfast to afternoon tea, poolside lunches to à la carte dinners. Food and drink plays a big part in life at the Feversham Arms.
Dinner is the main focus in the 2 AA rosette restaurant where diners can enjoy a five-course tasting menu or three course à la carte dinner each evening. Say hello to one of the most talked about cheese trolleys in Yorkshire and sample the delights from a well-stocked cellar
Throughout the summer months, lunch menu becomes the talking point as fresh, seasonal dishes are served poolside on the terrace and gardens, as well as in the lounge. The quintessential tradition of afternoon tea is best enjoyed in front of cosy fireside lounges during the winter or by the pool on warmer summer days.
The Verbena Spa relaxation lounge is defined by plump cushions, sofas you sink into, and views across the south facing terrace garden.
The spa houses six single treatment rooms and one couples room, in which guests can experience a tandem therapy, perfect for couples or ladies who would like to have a chat whilst they’re pampered. The spa has an extensive Heat Experience including an aromatherapy room, salt inhalation chamber, saunarium, monsoon shower, foot spas and ice fountain. This section can be experienced in conjunction with treatments or on its own as a wonderfully effective detox for your skin, sinuses and mind.
All together the Feversham Arms Hotel & Verbena Spa provides a haven for people to retreat from the pressures of life; to take some time to indulge their bodies and relax their minds. The ultimate luxury hideaway experience.
There are very few places as captivating as the Feversham Arms Hotel & Verbena Spa, and Helmsley offers a range of things to see and do. From a day enjoying the shops in the pretty market town, to some of the attractions within and near it.
Helmsley Castle or the Bird of Prey Centre are both just a ten minute walk from the hotel. For a longer walk, our favourite route is to Rievaulx Abbey which is roughly a two mile walk in each direction. Walking booklets and organised picnics are on hand too.
